The Homie Entrance

Asset

Since I got my show on Sector.FM I've wanted to have time to highlight all my friends who would love to do shows but can't commit to a regularly scheduled slot. Problem is, I really love doing my bi-weekly sets. So after talking it over with the people with the keys to the station I decided to move my show to a weekly schedule with the weeks I would previously take off inste ad acting as showcase for all my friends and their eclectic tastes, skills, and backgrounds.

so you want a slot?

Kinks will have to be worked out, but this concept should be going live in August with a first show penciled in for August 9th. You'll have two options on how you present your show:

Option 1

Submit a Pre-Record

1a. If you're local, my house, turntables, mixer, and CDJs are all available to you text me to coordinate when you'd like to come by with your records/USB and record! {RIP the office floors. This isn't an option till we get the set up back and running}

1b. If you're a veteran of the crates/Ableton and want to record on your own terms feel free! I only ask that you have your .mp3 recording to me by 10pm on the Friday before your show so I can master it, add the Sector.FM bumpers, and add a little introduction. You should expect your final actual play time to be ~58min but please submit a full hour just in case!

Option 2

Go Live

You're welcome to meet me and a Sector producer at Learning a.k.a. the Sector.FM studio, outside of Clearwater (text me for the address). Keep in mind my slot is at 10am, so please plan to be at Learning by 9:30am so we can walk you through all the gear and troubleshoot any issues. Plus getting there early means we get to hang out with Tarryn! You'll just need to bring a crate of records and or a Rekordbox formatted USB with MP3s (ask me how I know flacs don't work).

How do I pick my day?

As much as I like to imagine I could just keep track of this in my head, there was no way I wouldn't fuck that up so I made a Google appointment thing which you can click on below:

click here to select a day for your show!

I'll try to keep a rough outline of who's on when here so you can easily check for openings but for the most up to date info check the link above.

Awesome, I just got a picked my slot! What's next?

Shoot me a text or a DM (how ever we usually communicate) and let me know! We need to chat out logistics and make sure you have everything you need to prerecord/go live. I will also send you the station bible so you get the same rundown I did for my first guest spot.
